Customers setting up their payroll connection for the first time should follow the steps below, starting with the recommended setup:
Recommended setup
- Once you have reached the payroll connection screen which asks you to search for your employer or payroll, type in the name of the payroll system your employer uses. This is the same system that delivers your paycheck and paystub.
- Select the payroll system in the drop down menu.
- Enter your payroll user ID and password when prompted.
- A screen will appear asking you to provide a one-time passcode, which you will receive via text or email. Once you have it, please enter this code.
- Connection is successful!
During your 24-month loan period, it's possible that we will need you to re-establish the payroll connection if it is interrupted. If this happens, we'll give you easy-to-follow instructions so you can easily reconnect.

What if I cannot find my payroll system?
Some users may be unable to find their payroll system in the search. If this is you, try instead to search for your employer. Please use the exact name listed for your employer in your paystub. Once you find your employer, please provide your payroll login credentials to finish the connection.

What if my login credentials do not work?
First, please verify that you are using the same user ID and password details you use to connect with your payroll system. When using those credentials with Sorbet, check to ensure there are no typos or extra spaces before or after the text.
